The 30 Greatest Shows of the SFX Era
SFX is marking its 30th anniversary this year, and we’re doing various things to mark the occasion. This month we’ve enlisted the help of friends of the mag – including writers, directors and producers of some of your favourite series – to pick out 30 of the greatest TV series to air since our first issue hit WH Smith. The Wheel of Time
The fantasy show based on Robert Jordan’s massively popular books returns to Prime Video for a third season soon. We visit the set in South Africa and speak to showrunner Rafe Judkins and cast members Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney and Josha Stradowski.
The Electric State
The Russo Brothers’ latest movie is an adaptation of Simon Stålenhag’s graphic novel, set after a robot uprising. We talk to both Anthony and Joe (as well as co-writer Stephen McFeely) about bringing its post-apocalyptic world to life.
Designing Section 31
In our latest feature showcasing the work of behind-the-scenes bods, we learn all about the Emperor’s new clothes (and Alok’s, and Quasi’s, and... oh, you get the idea) from Star Trek costume designer Gersha Phillips.
